Sebright chicken is a beautiful decorative breed originating in the United Kingdom. It is but one of those real bantam chicken breeds.

There are two color varieties of this chicken strain; Golden and Silver. The Silver Sebrights are silver-white and the Goldens are gold bay with both kinds using each feather laced in black.
Sebright bantams possess a distinct breast and a short back. Their tail is broadly spread and stored at a slightly upward angle. Their wings are big and downward.
They have reddish rose comb and end at a straight, flat spike. The hens have a spout that is comparable but smaller.
Their earlobes are either purplish-red or two. Their legs are of slate-blue color. Their wattles are bright red in color and curved and are smaller in the hens. The facial skin is purplish-red from roosters and gypsy-colored in the hens.
