The Nagori cattle are a strain of domestic cattle which are raised mainly for agricultural work purposes.

They are a breed of cows and known to have originated in Nagaur district of Rajasthan, India.

Nagori cows are upstanding, fine and big animals. They are of grey and white color. They have deep long and powerful frames that make them excellent creatures for works.

They have narrow and long face and their forehead is flat and not prominent. They have developed quarters together with direct backs.

Eyes of the Nagori cows are modest, clear and bright as well as the eyelids are quite heavy and overhanging.

Both cows and bulls have horns, and their horns are of medium dimensions, emerge from the angles of their poll in an outward direction.

The horns have been carried upwards to twist in at the points.

The Nagori cattle have large ears which are pendulous. Their neck is short, fine and seems powerful and the dewlap is nice and small.

The cows have hump that is small. Even though the bulls have developed although not so business hump.

They have strong legs with streamlined hooves. The sheath is little and their tail is medium at length hitting below the hocks.

History
